ABOUT MINORITY ATTACK |
When a team is in minority a defensive attitude in the attack
is a possibility, which is often used. One must make the 2 minutes suspension pass
so the team again in on full strength. The ball is passed around and the attempts
to break through only have that purpose to make the referee rule for a 9-meter throw.
It is also possible to fake an injury. This is not very sportsmanlike, but the time
passes. But whatever you do - at last the referee will rule for passive game and
a shot must be taken.
Active minority attack is another possibility,
but the value of these systems can be discussed. If systems exist which makes it
possible to score in a minority situation why not use them all the time with
a full team.
However some methods can be used.
Create a man-to-man
situation or - if possible - a superior number situation. A running in from the
wings with a screening on the opposite defending back is a possibility. Alternatively
the team could try to combine themselves into a superior number situation.
