If the opponents are very eager to counter attack this might be useful.
The team makes their attack and builds up. The coach calls a player
to the substitution area for some 'instructions'. Now the wing on the
opposite side makes a 'bad' pass to the back in such a way, that the
ball bounces slowly and tempting towards the replacement area. Of course
the team must comment this. While the team argues the opponents hopefully
rush forward to start the counter attack. Meanwhile the coach has followed
the ball and informed the player its position. In the right moment the
coach shouts "NOW" and the player turns around, pick up the ball and
throws it to one of her teammates, who have stayed behind, while the
opponents counter attacked.
