Jump shot over mattress

A mattress or something else, which has a height which force the players to jump high is used.

The players now dribbles forward and perform a jump shot. The player must - at the top of her jump - get the bearing of the goal and make a well placed shot.

The exercise can also be done in that way that the player must round the edge of the mattress and shoot which again force the player to get a quick bearing of the goal and the goalkeepers position.

The exercise is also a good reaction training for the goalkeeper, who cannot see the shooters before the shot is executed.

It is a good idea to let the coach or some players support the mattress.
