The jump shot can be performed after the 3-step approach or without run-up.
In the last one it is the most difficult to obtain altitude, but is very surprising for the defense.

It is important to work with the "hover", so you can remain in the air as long as possible.
The hovering effect is reached by pulling the opposite knee (not the jump leg) as high as possible for then - when you are at the top to the jump - to stretch it again.
At the same time the shot is performed.
