Taping - Anklelock - outside

The foot is held in an angle of 90 degrees compared to the lower leg while taping. (The same position if the person is standing):
First 1 or 2 anchors are placed around the lower leg. The anchor must not be too close to the ankle joint - 15-20 centimeters distance would be fine. Take care not to wind the tape so tight that it stops the bloodstream.
Next the taping starts from the outside of the lower leg. The tape is fastened on the anchor and is led diagonally over the wrist of the foot - and down to the Achilles' tendon

Then around on the inside of the heel. At last the tape is pulled under the heel and up to the anchor on the outside of the lower leg. As a finish a new anchor is placed over the old one in order to keep the taping in place.
